Tree by Tree: A Guide to Nature’s Lessons

The leaves are giving us their final hurrah of fall. It’s a vivid reminder that nature always has something to teach us. For those of us who live where the seasons change, the turning of the leaves marks the passing of time. It provides a signal that a new season is beginning.

I’ve love learning from nature. I also believe that writing thoughts down is beneficial for learning. I’ll admit though, that while journaling is powerful, it isn’t always my go to. Sometimes I’d rather take a thought with me on a walk. Then I can let it unfold in my brain as I watch the colors shift in the trees.

That’s the idea behind the book Tree by Tree. It’s designed for those moments when you want to reflect and grow. You seek to find meaning in the natural world, but you don’t feel like writing it out. Tree by Tree uses the example of 30 trees, including information and an illustration of each, to inspire contemplation.

If you’d like a companion to help you learn from nature one tree at a time, you can find Tree Tree by Tree: 30 Days of Reflection on Resilience, Connection, and Inner Seasons on Amazon.
