Highest Growth for Your Highest Good

9 Things to Know Before You Turn 30

  1. No one is coming to live your life for you. If you don’t choose, life chooses for you.
  2. That job or project you didn’t want might become the one that changes everything.
  3. The more you learn, the more you realize how little you actually know.
  4. People will see you through their own filters, not through your intentions.
Some will get you. Some won’t. Make yourself your own judge, not the crowd.
  5. The people above you are thinking about their own careers just as much as you are thinking about your own. Don’t assume they’re focused only on you.
  6. Worrying feels productive, but it’s not. It burns energy without moving anything forward.
  7. Fear isn’t the enemy. It can protect you or paralyze you and you get to decide which.
  8. Your life won’t unfold in exactly the way you imagined. Sometimes that’s a disappointment. Sometimes it’s a thrill.
  9. You’ve impact people in good and not so good ways which you’ll never fully know. When someone tells you how you shaped their life, let it land. It matters.
