Boost Your Energy with PLAY: A Simple Guide

Stress, frustration, or even just the routine of daily life can pull you down. Raising your energy doesn’t require a big leap. Raising your energy can be as simple as choosing to PLAY.

Here’s how:

P → Pause
Stop for a moment. Take a breath. Look around you and notice one or two things you’re grateful for right now. Gratitude shifts our energy instantly.

L → Listen
Close your eyes if you’d like and tune in. What is your heart saying? What feelings are showing up joy, worry, peace, sadness? Naming them helps you connect with yourself more honestly.

A → Allow
Give yourself permission. Permission to feel, to rest, to laugh, to move your body. Allow space for what your heart is nudging you toward. This could mean calling a friend, taking a walk, or just letting yourself breathe.

Y → Yearn
Notice the moments when you feel most alive, most joyful. What were you doing? Who were you with? Lean into that yearning and then set aside a little time to do those things again. Joy multiplies when we give it room.

💛 Feelings are normal and natural. The next time a “negative” feeling arises, instead of pushing it away, give yourself the gift of PLAY. Joy is always available in small, practical ways.
